A Fairfax County community task force, working with county staff and proposals from developers, has created a plan to transform the acres of parking lots at West Falls Church Metro Station into a mixed-use community with enhanced transit, inclusive housing opportunities, new bike/ped connections, open space and linear parks, and upgraded stormwater management. All this would complement and connect to the City of Falls Church’s new high school and mixed-use redevelopment already underway. Together these projects will create a new inclusive, vibrant, and livable neighborhood in West Falls Church.
