Washington, D.C. (February 15, 2022) – At its February meeting, the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) will consider approving eight local Northern Virginia small-scale transportation projects for approximately $7.2M in federal funding through the Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TA Set-Aside) Program.
The board will discuss next steps for determining how climate change mitigation activities can be further integrated into its planning process. Members will also be briefed on the TPB’s work scope for the upcoming fiscal year, and review draft, federally required performance targets for the region’s transit assets.
