NVTA’s Travel Trends Report provides a quarterly snapshot of how people are traveling in Northern Virginia. By analyzing data on highway traffic, transit ridership, and travel speeds, NVTA tracks shifts in travel demand and patterns. This helps us understand whether recent trends are temporary or part of a long-term shift, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic.
