TransAction Update and Six Year Program Updates

Proposal Due Date: October 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM

The purpose of this RFP is to procure technical consulting services to update the TransAction Long Range Transportation Plan for Northern Virginia to support future updates of the Authority’s Six Year Program, and to provide similar technical and communications services for other NVTA initiatives. The additional task, for continued BRT analysis, is a non-optional part of this RFP. NVTA will be committing resources for communications oversight focused on quality control for consistency in messaging, branding, formatting, and quality. The Pre-Proposal Conference date and time have changed from September 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM to September 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

Pre-Proposal Conference

What: Non-mandatory consultant briefing, including a presentation from NVTA followed by review of questions received on the RFP.

When: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on September 25, 2025

Where: Hybrid Meeting

Who: All consultant firms are welcome to attend and gather information.

Background: Every five years, NVTA updates TransAction, Northern Virginia’s long-range transportation plan, to guide regional investments by identifying current and future needs. TransAction also serves as the foundation for allocating Regional Revenue funding toward eligible projects in each NVTA Six Year Program.
