September 3, 2020 - September 21, 2020

Proposed Limited Access Control Change Prince William Parkway and
University Boulevard Interchange
(Prince William Parkway
Quadrant Road Intersection)
Prince William County
Willingness for Public Comment

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is accepting comments regarding a proposed limited access control change for the Prince William Parkway (Route 234) and University Boulevard (Prince William Parkway Quadrant Road Intersection) project at the Prince William Parkway and Discovery Boulevard intersection in Prince William County. A change in the Limited Access Line at the Prince William Parkway and Discovery Boulevard intersection has been requested by Prince William County to accommodate improvements along Prince William Parkway to accommodate the proposed extension of Discovery Boulevard. The proposed change includes a break in the existing Limited Access Line where proposed Discovery Boulevard will intersect with Prince William Parkway. There will be a new traffic pattern due to this proposed Quadrant Road Intersection improvement. This project will involve changes and/or breaks in limited access control.

Review project information on the project website (www.pwcgov.org/government/dept/dot) or during business hours at VDOT’s Northern Virginia District Office, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.

The VDOT Northern Virginia District Office invites public comments related to the proposed limited access control change. Comments must be sent to Mr. Peter Gerner, Project Manager at the above address or Peter.Gerner@vdot.virginia.gov on or prior to September 21, 2020. Please reference “Prince William Parkway and University Boulevard Interchange Limited Access Control Change” in the subject line.
