Route 28 (From Linton Hall Road to Fitzwater Drive) Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

There will be a Route 28 (From Linton Hall Road to Fitzwater Drive) ribbon-cutting ceremony held in Prince William County on Wednesday, October 9 at 10 a.m.
As a result of the completion of this Route 28 improvements project, which broke ground more than two years ago, both the community and commuters will benefit from the widened roadway from two lanes undivided to four lanes divided; the relocation and realignment of Route 215 (Vint Hill Road); a new multi-use trail and sidewalk on both sides of a widened roadway; and traffic signal reconstruction.

These improvements will alleviate traffic on this regionally congested corridor and allow for better connectivity from the Bristow/Nokesville area in Prince William County to the City of Manassas, the City of Manassas Park, and ultimately, into Fairfax and Loudoun Counties through the Route 28 corridor, as well as improve safety for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists alike.

Carpooling is strongly recommended as parking is limited. There ceremony will be held on the bridge over Kettle Run in Prince William County.
