VIRTUAL MEETING FOR LOUDOUN COUNTY METRORAIL BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS

October 22, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

LOUDOUN – The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a virtual public information meeting Thursday, Oct. 22 on plans to construct missing segments in the bicycle and pedestrian network within two miles of the future Loudoun Gateway (Route 606) and Ashburn Metrorail stations.

The improvements include a variety of bicycle and pedestrian improvements at the following locations (view aerials of each one here):

Get Involved

In lieu of an in-person meeting, VDOT invites residents and travelers to learn more, participate in the virtual meeting and give feedback in the following ways:

  • Attend the Thursday, Oct. 22 online Register at virginiadot.org/LoudounMetroBikePed or to participate without registering in listen-only mode, call 877-309-2074 (use access code 904-799-163). The VDOT project team will make a short presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. and answer questions for about an hour after the presentation.
  • Provide comments via the online survey or by email to meetingcomments@vdot.virginia.gov.
  • Mail comments to Mr. Zamir Mirza, Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.

Once the meeting is complete, the recorded presentation will be available online. Project materials and details are also available at virginiadot.org/LoudounMetroBikePed.
