Virtual Community Meeting: Innovation Station N. Neighborhood Access Project

The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) will hold a virtual community meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at 7 p.m., to present information about the Innovation Station North Neighborhood Access project, which will construct a new shared use path from the Innovation Metrorail Station to the adjacent neighborhoods. The project will provide enhanced access to the new station. Preliminary design of the project will be presented and the public will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input.

Project Information

The Innovation Station North Neighborhood Access project will provide a direct pedestrian and bicycle connection from the Innovation Metrorail Station to the adjacent neighborhoods. The project will:

• construct a 10’ wide, approximately 2,000’ long shared use path
• significantly reduce the trip length between the station and surrounding neighborhoods.
