Centerville Road STARS Study Public Information Meeting

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a public information meeting to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the Route 28 Centerville Road STARS Study. The primary objective of the study includes:
– Reviewing previous studies in the corridor
– Reviewing signal phasing for potential reductions in the number of signal phases or operations that would result in improved efficiency
– Considering the feasibility of alternative intersection designs, including roundabouts, and overpasses, among others, and
– Assessing, at a planning level, the impacts on access, right-of-way, utilities, and other features, and to quantify the traffic effects.
The meeting will include an open house and a brief presentation followed by a question and answer period. The meeting is scheduled as follows:
