Announcement from the Virginia Transit Association (VTA):
We are excited to announce that “Registration is open” for our 2023 Annual Conference & Expo which will take place in sunny Virginia Beach, May 23-24!
We have a draft program agenda now to focus on new technology and innovative approaches to rebuild ridership and improve accessibility, alternative fuels, and integrated mobility. Many of your colleagues will be on hand to share their stories on how to improve ridership, develop emerging leadership, and learn about new policy and funding opportunities.
Tuesday night following our evening reception, we’ll be sending our guests out on-to the beautiful Virginia Beach boardwalk with Sonny Merryman branded Visa gift cards, courtesy Hampton Roads Transit trolley passes, and a list of participating restaurants who are offering our attendees exclusive deals. This will be a great opportunity to continue networking with your transit colleagues and conference exhibitors.
And you won’t want to miss the Awards Luncheon on Wednesday featuring former NFL player, former chair of Transportation District Commission of Hampton Roads (HRT), and newly elected State Senator Aaron Rouse who will talk about how transit helped him on his journey from the gridiron to the General Assembly.
Our sponsors and exhibitors make it possible for our transit members to send attendees at very reasonable rates. The hotel is offering competitive rates for our block of rooms or government rate rooms, but early registration is advisable as rooms are limited and we’ll share the discounted room links with our registered participants.
